She fled Nazi Germany to British Mandatory Palestine, ultimately settling in Jerusalem, where she lived a life of obscurity and poverty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.laskerschuelerarchives.org\/\">Poetic Textures: Else Lasker-Sch\u00fcler Archives. An Online Platform<\/a>&#8221; is a collaboration between Jerusalem&#8217;s National Library of Israel (NLI), home to Lasker-Sch\u00fcler&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/merhav.nli.org.il\/primo-explore\/search?query=any,contains,Else%20Lasker-Sch%C3%BCler&amp;tab=default_tab&amp;search_scope=Local&amp;vid=NLI&amp;mfacet=rtype,include,Archives,1&amp;lang=en_US&amp;offset=0\">personal archive<\/a>, and the German Literature Archive (DLA), home to a significant collection of her works. The platform has been made possible with the generous support of Karl Albrecht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_rJslvV9cQsezTYQNHsiJKA\">online event celebrating the launch of &#8220;Poetic Textures&#8221;<\/a> will be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 19:00 Israel time \/ 18:00 German time.\u00a0 The event is presented as a DLA \u2013 NLI collaboration, and as part of the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/europe.nli.org.il\/\">Gesher L&#8217;Europe<\/a>&#8221; initiative to connect NLI with people, institutions and communities in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Poetic Textures: Else Lasker-Sch\u00fcler Archives.
